Sans and Papyrus renting themselves out as Halloween porch decorations, after the job market dries out.
But they don’t tell each other because they don’t want to worry each other.
Turns out that they end up assigned to houses across the street from each other.
They are not supposed to break character nor leave their assigned places, so they have a gesture heavy argument from across the street.
Papyrus is dressed as the grim reaper and Sans is a stereotypical rotten corpse, coming out of a grave. So he’s half buried anyway.
They think they are being discreet. But people and other monsters are very aware of them and enjoy the show.
After finishing up their shift, Sans realizes he’s stuck in the ground not able to get up from the buried hole. Papyrus (last minute thinking) used his scythe to dig a hole in a panic.
Suddenly the annoying dog grabs Sans’s leg from the ground and runs off.
Papyrus: *stops digging to chase the dog* ARGH THAT STUPID DOG!! COME BACK HERE WITH MY BROTHER’S LEG!
Sans: Bro! Come back and raise me from the dead! (Da dum tss)
