āYouād be surprisedā, said Xaldien, who just lost four followers and received a lovely āmen canāt be rapedā anon shortly after reblogging this the first time.
Yowch, disgusting.
If I donāt reblog this, assume Iām dead.
Of course it happens to men as well, they just donāt report it as much as women because our fucked up society would see it as an emasculating sign of weakness to have been victimized by a female if youāre a male. Or even if you were victimized by another male, that one makes it a double threat.
People with anxiety will go out of their way to make sure youāre not uncomfortable or anxious about whatās going onĀ
People with depression will joke & be silly & try to make you laugh
People with PTSD will respect your personal space & boundaries & ask before they invade your bubble
People with ADHD will not get impatient or snap at you if you talk to much/ramble/donāt get your point across quick enough
People with bipolar disorder will not judge you when your moods change & youĀ āarenāt acting like yourselfā one day
What I noticed about other people with mental illnesses is that they are the most understanding, empathetic, easy going, tolerant people. We know what itās like to live & struggle with these issues every day & we always wanna make damn sure other people donāt have to go through it too if we can do anything to help it.
My sensitive self canāt take this. this is beautiful š«š¢š
I love Gordon.
Sheās blind and he was making all the points about the pie in a way she could respond to: sound. He is an amazing man
Not to mention Christine won Master Chef that year.
I reblog Gordon Ramsey every time he appears
i reblog this every time it comes on my dash and i will until the day i die or this hellsite does
I canāt believe Iām crying over an apple pie
Knowing how people reacted to Gordon after that kitchen nightmares episode on Amyās Baking Company, this video fucking destroys any doubts on Gordon.
I remember seeing that episode when I was younger, it was one of my favorite shows XD
I have read 15 books which have been like just over 400 pages each in barely 2 months, I think, finished two of them in two days by starting and finishing one book a day and now i amĀ on my 16th and I canāt stopĀ
If youāre one of those people who thinks executive dysfunction only happens for things we donāt like (school, cleaning,) then please consider the fact that Iāve been meaning to plug my phone in for 20 minutes and Iām now at 2% and still putting it off to write this post ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
My anime/video game list consists of over 100 titles, easily, and yet I almost never get around to watching/playing any of them.
Executive dysfunction is not just for boring or unenjoyable things. Itās for everything. Even eating.
What is executive dysfunction? O.o
Put simply, itās difficulty/inability with initiating tasks. The prefrontal cortex is responsible for executive functions, like decision-making and impulse control. People with ADHD and other neurological disorders that affect the prefrontal cortex often experience difficulty making decisions and performing tasks, as well as exercising self restraint. Part of why people with ADHD tend to procrastinate so badly is out of genuine inability to begin tasks, even if theyāre very important.
It feels, for me at least, like Iām constantly waiting for something and I canāt start X task because Iām waiting. I never know what exactly Iām waiting for, but that doesnāt stop me from wasting hours and days not doing the things I need to do, even if I have a desire to do them.

Oh thank god, someoneĀ put it into words.
For me itās also waiting for theĀ ārightā time to come to complete the task because for some reason my brain thinks doing the task at any other time is horribly, horribly wrong, weird, and out of order. TheĀ ārightā time might come eventually, might not. Itās a lottery.
Dude this is the exact description of me and I had no idea that this was actually a thing 0_o can depression cause this too?
No matter what tablet or screen protector you have, your pen tip is gonna scratch. And a good screen protector and a tablet screen itself can be spensive! (Not to mention being able to properly see your art through fog and scratches is kind of a problemā¦)
and pen nibs! They can be used up too quickly!Ā
Ive been testing ways to prevent these catastropheās from happening⦠With pen nib wraps.Ā
Hereās what you may need to construct this.

Option 1: Scotch Tape or Paper Tape
(I used to use scotch tape, now i use paper tape.)
How: Cut little strips and wrap them around the pen nib. Yes it is hard to cut to proper size and get them to stick. (I didnāt do this, but use some elmers glue maybe?)
Eventually you will have to change these because theyāll become loose with use and dirt. (They can get nasty.)
Drawing on Screen:Ā It feels something like paper but it can make squeaky noises.(Not good for when youāre trying to be a sneak late at night drawing. People are gonna wonder where the mouse is.) The screen can get sticky and sometimes can get cut by the edges of tape.

Option 2: Cotton
How: You can get a really fine point with it. Wrap a small piece cotton around the nib, you can trim with scizzors to the right size, and then roll the surface with a drop of glue to keep its shape and give some adhesive to the nib. Make sure to use some scizzors to gently lift the cotton a bit away from the pen surface, (where the nib goes into the pen) so it has room to activate pressure sensitivity. It canāt work if the pen nib canāt spring up and down.
Drawing on screen: The feel and sound this has on the tablet is similar to pencil to paper.
You may have to change this out for a new one eventually. Mine gather alot of dirt. Your screen gets dirty! donāt forget to clean it!
Notes:
Why I only wrapped the nib and not to the pen itself is to keep pressure sensitivity problems from happening.
Sometimes your pen will act funny when you hold it near your tablet. Pressure sensitivity is jacked up and will draw a line even when your pen is lifted from the screen. (which is tbh pretty cool.) Leave space between the object on your nib and your pen. Get some good fine scizzors to do so.
Make sure your wrap doesnāt get in the way of you seeing your lines.(Although I guess this wonāt matter to you if you have a screenless tablet.)

Anywho, please forgive my wordyness, I hope this helps any fellow digital artists! Notes on your findings on anything pen nib or stylus related are welcome!
