A spell to help you further dive into the memories of one of your particular past lives.
Note: this spell is to be used when you know about one of your past lives in more detail. It doesn’t work very well if you are unaware of any of your past lives, instead check out this spell to help you discover a past life first or this tarot spread.
You Will Need:
🔮 Rosemary (preferably dried)
🔮 Jasmine (preferably dried or tea)
🔮 Marigold (preferably dried)
🔮 Dream Quartz (clear quartz can replace it)
🔮 Amethyst
🔮 Labrodite
🔮 Malachite
🔮 White Feathers (about 2)
🔮 Pen or Pencil
🔮 Lined paper cut in smaller sections (thirds of a page should be good)
🔮 Jar with sealing lid
🔮 Purple String or Ribbon
Steps:
🔮 On your pieces of lined paper at the top of each write down these titles: The Life, The Now, The Memory. Under “The Life” write down which past life you wish to learn more about. In this section write down whatever you may know about this past life already in example if you know in your past life you wish to explore you were a male priest who lived during the 1800s, write that down. Under “The Now” write down who you are now and how it relates to your past. If in that past life you were a priest and now you are no longer religious at all and you feel it was because of that life, write it down. Anything you feel that may correlate write down here. Under “The Memory” write down what sort of memory you wish to dream about or memories, you can make a list if you desire. This can include early life, later life, bad memories, good memories, a purposeful memory, a turning point, etc.
🔮 Once you have everything written down set them aside.
🔮 In your jar add in your herbs at the bottom then on top add your crystals.
🔮 Take your pieces of paper and fold them or roll them however you wish and place them into the jar and on top of them add your 2 white feathers
🔮 Hold the jar in your hands and focus on your desire to explore the past memories of your past life. “In this jar I seal my desire, to relive memories long forgotten.” And gently (please gently, you do not want herbs and paper and feathers flying into your face) blow softly into the jar focusing on adding your own energy to this jar. Seal it tightly
🔮 Around the lid or lip of the jar tie your purple ribbon to magically seal it with your intention
🔮 Keep jar near, above or under bed and keep a dream journal close by as well. Record all dreams you have come morning
To dream about other past lives or memories open the jar and replace the paper with new ones and re-add your energy to it. Cleanse jar occasionally in the moonlight, especially before resealing with the new desires.
Here is a spell to help people who do past life work as well as dream work. It will aid in you having some memories or symbolism in your dreams about past lives you may have lived.
You Will Need:
Rosemary (past life work in dreams, vivid dreams, remembering dreams)
Amethyst (vivid dreams)
Clear Quartz or Dream Quartz (past life work, general dream work)
Jet (dreams, protection in sleep)
Sachet
Chamomile Tea (induces sleep)
Steps:
In a sachet of your choice place your rosemary, amethyst, clear quartz/dream quartz, and Jet. Make sure it is pulled closed tightly to ensure it doesn’t spill and place it beneath your pillow.
Brew your chamomile tea to your liking, stir it clockwise thinking of your intent, which is to dream of your past lives. Breath in the scent of it and drink it slowly in a quiet area.
Once finished with your tea lay in bed. “Tonight I will dream of moments past, and relive the lives that have passed.”
Go to sleep.
In the morning or moment you wake up it is recommended you write down and record your dreams as well as decipher their meanings. This will help you with future dream memory as well.
Folks out there act like there isn’t any intermediate and advanced witchcraft content available to them. Even 20 years ago most of what is easily available now was not at your finger tips. Because of all this availability it seems like people don’t realize what is basic, intermediate or advanced. Spoilt with everything available, they wonder what advanced even is. Everything listed down here can be found online, in distance classes, and in books that are for sale at modest cost:
The basics are knowing the major neopagan holidays, how to cast a circle, cleanse, ground, shield and follow spell and ritual instructions for simple goals like attracting prosperity, inspiration and a little luck. Easy to follow and clear cut ethics. The instructions for learning visualization. You can start elsewhere than neopagan but there will be similar basic practices, and there are hundreds of books of the same basic content and lots of sites and blogs too.
Intermediate material is setting up a daily practice, getting good with a divination method, getting very familiar with herbal, tree, stone or animal lore, writing your own spells and rituals using correspondences and standard patterns, some study of myth and folklore. Thoughtful understanding of gray area ethics and honor. A lot of self exploration and strengthening. Instructions for out of body experience.
Advance material will be communicating with various spirits and/or deities. The specialization in the arts of a particular path or role like priesthood, tool making, bardic storytelling, writing your own grimoire or copying your tradition’s book of shadows. Initiation into that path and optionally coven practice. Confidence in astral travel. More specific and targeted spell craft and ritual based upon your compiled experiences and those shared with you by teachers and peers. Ecstatic practices during ritual and spell work. Deep self knowledge, facing difficult demons and shadows and acting in full accordance with your own ethical compass.
Post advanced: learning the specialities of more paths perhaps becoming a leader, teacher, warrior, writer, or mystic in your tradition. Learning more depth and self knowledge through teaching or leading or even through deeper life dedication. It is not every person who has gone through the levels duty to teach, it takes extra talents outside of the craft like writing ability, pedagogy, and even the luxury of time and space to provide for others.
It all comes down to your own personal level of dedication and amount effort you can or will put in how far you can go. And one can have a very meaningful and impactful practice at any level dependent only upon satisfying their own drive for self knowledge and wisdom and truth of the spirit world, deities and/or nature. Everyone’s advanced path will look different though intro paths can be fairly similar, they all are unique too.

As a spoonie witch, using magic to help regain my mental and physical energy has been extremely helpful. I decided to compile some resources to make life easier!
I rarely use this method myself, but I know people are always looking for tutorials on different methods of sigil making and not finding any. I’ve had a few different people asking for more graph based sigil making techniques, and this is a fairly well known one that fits that category. I hope this tutorial is coherent and answers questions instead of making things more confusing. If you have any questions, however, never be afraid to ask.
I don’t really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so I’m just calling it “Letter Shaping” because you’re using the basic shapes from certain letters. This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creative way, and that’s what I like so much about this method. There’s a lot of freedom and personalization involved.
