what if denki’s electricity is generated by the rapid firing of neuron cells in his spine that channels through the rest of his body (most notably his arms/hands)? bc when neurons fire they generate electricity! and him overusing his quirk is literally his brain being overworked and the neurons having to recover because they did so many rapid fires at once! this also means he has a limited use of his quirk till those neurons die bc neuron cells don’t regenerate so he could lose his quirk at any age.
